Bethanie Community South West are currently seeking a dedicated, caring and motivated Community Support Worker who is committed to customer safety and satisfaction, displays good interpersonal and communication skills and is passionate about getting to know the people they care for, resulting in a better quality of life and health outcomes.

This is a Permanent Part time position offering 15- 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to accept additional shifts as available. As a Community Support Worker, you will service clients in within the South West (Bunbury and Busselton Regions).

You will be required to be available for a variety of shifts ranging from morning, afternoon and evenings as well as weekends to be able to support our client’s needs.  You must have access to a reliable and suitable vehicle for client transportation.

About the role:

  • Professionally deliver a variety of services (including: food, laundry, personal care, leisure, interest & domestic etc)
  • Ensure all living areas of clients homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazards
  • All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately
  • Provide respect and compassion to clients

About you:

  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Community Care is essential
  • Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained
  • Clean drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
