Elderly Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Stafford lakes, Queensland. This part-time/casual role will see you providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Monitoring and recording residents’ health, dietary and personal care needs
- Engaging residents in social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their wellbeing
- Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for residents
- Communicating effectively with residents, their families and the broader care team
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and quality standards
What we’re looking for
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly residents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
- A caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
