About NECH

North Eastern Community Hospital (NECH) is a not-for-profit private hospital and 84 bed Aged Care Facility including a 23 bed Memory Support Unit. As a community facility, all profits generated are reinvested for the benefit of providing support to healthcare services for the community.

About the Role

We are seeking kind, caring and compassionate individuals to join our aged care team.

Multiple permanent part time and casual positions are available on various shifts across a 24 hour roster are immediately available, including weekends and public holidays.

Rostered hours are provided in advance and we are seeking people with flexibility to be able to fill shifts at short notice when required.

Our teams are well supported with exceptional nursing leadership and the opportunity to grow in your role will be provided to those who demonstrate the commitment to their role and quality outcomes for our residents.

Essential Criteria

  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support/Aged Care
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work as an integral member of a multicultural team
  • Possess the qualities of kindness, empathy and patience with older people
  • Willingness to learn and grow to deliver exception care, the NECH way

Desirable

  • Prior experience in a Hospital or Aged Care setting
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or care roles
  • Demonstrated initiative in their previous roles
