            PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT

  • Part-Time and Casual positions available.
  • Bendigo Location (64 Beds Residential facility)

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) you will deliver exceptional care to residents at mecwacare’s Floral Hill, a 64 – bed facility Residential Facility. Your compassionate personality and positive attitude will assist you in providing an optimal level of dignity, comfort, and quality of life for our care recipients.
 
What you bring:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in Aged Care.
  • Availability to work AM and PM shifts weekday and weekends.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to older people and their families.
  • Ability to understand and implement resident care plans.
  • Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
  • Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude.
