We are looking to build our team with a variety of experienced Caregivers who are able to work on a casual basis from 10 to 38 hours per week!

Responsibilities of the Role

Making Lives Better® by:

  • Assisting clients with showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene
  • Assisting clients with housekeeping, meals or other daily errands
  • Assisting clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social events
  • Accurate visit documentation and observation on changes in their health or status

We provide around the clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client’s needs.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Passionate about making a difference
  • It is essential you feel and display empathy, and want to engage with clients
  • Previous community care experience an asset
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns
  • Reliable way to get to and from the clients’ home

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support, Disability or Equivalent
  • National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screener
  • ACT Working With Vulnerable People Card
  • Up to date CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • Up to date Covid-19 Vaccination
