Personal Care Assistant – Diet & Hydration

Palm Lake Care Beachmere changes the perception of aged care. Located on the waterfront with uninterrupted views of Moreton Bay, Palm Lake Beachmere has 102 light and bright, private ensuited rooms each with individual access to the great outdoors making it a most-beautiful place to work.

We are currently offering 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday role with focus on Diet and Hydration Support for Residents. 

We are seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant specifically. You will work under the guidance of the Registered Nurse to deliver quality care to our residents and assist them in the activities of daily living with focus on Diet and Hydration..

What we are looking for:

• An enthusiastic, individual who cares about their work and are passionate about Palm Lake Care. 
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
• National Police Check
• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility – min 2 years
• You will be team orientated to achieve the best possible outcomes for our residents
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Empathy with elderly residents and their families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded
