Reporting to the Team Leader, you will contribute to a well-oiled routine that provides stability and support for our residents.  You will be exposed to plenty of training and development opportunities, that will keep you at the top of your game, genuinely engaging your clients and ensuring a high standard of professional connection to keep them focused on their recovery plan.

  • Develop and adjust client support plans, utilising recovery and trauma informed principles.
  • Assist our clients to achieve their individual goals and outcomes, helping them to feel awesome and win.
  • Coach our clients to build their capacity to live independently, participating in community activities and making sound decisions.
  • Support our clients with managing their medication, in an adult-to-adult model.
  • Record keeping – sadly, every job has it, but it’s super important and we try to make it as easy as possible for you.
  • Doing some sleepover shifts for a bit of extra cash, approximately once a month and as required.

Your application will go to the top of our shortlist you have:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Mental Health or Community Services, or perhaps you are working toward a Psychology or Social Work degree (and you’ve done a field placement).
  • Experience in a similar role will get our attention, but its not critical.
  • Knowledge and understanding of wellness, recovery and trauma informed principles.
  • Sound communication with a collaborative working approach to resolve client issues.
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients with unique needs.
  • Exceptional computer literacy with exceptional record keeping skills.
  • If you are a LARU Approved Supervisor and you happen to have a recent Police Clearance, you will probably be one of our favourites!

What’s in it for you?

  • Pay: Competitive salary, plus NFP salary packaging giving you the potential to gain $15,900 in tax benefits.
  • Leave: 23 days annual leave per annum pro-rated, that’s 3 days more than the standard 4 weeks.
  • Perks: Trendy workwear, lots of social activities, expand your experience by joining a consultation committee, interact with the people we exist to support.
  • Hours: Part-time and fixed term, working 30.4 hours per week, Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays.  The fixed term period ends in December 2025.
  • Career development: Training, accessible leaders, growth and advancement opportunities.
  • Culture: Exceptional workplace culture – we work hard and have fun while we do it!
