  • Permanent Part Time Position avaliable- 0.5 EFT

What You Will Be Doing

The overarching aim of the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Program is to improve the health and wellbeing of mothers and babies with key objectives being:

1. To improve women’s access and attendance to antenatal and post-natal services

2. To improve women’s access to a range of support services which may include health, welfare, housing and education services

3. Deliver health promotion messages that aim to reduce risk behaviours and promote healthy behaviours

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work (Bachelor or Master of Social Work)
  • Community Based Outreach experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team including a capacity for reflective practice, maintenance of a professional portfolio and a willingness to participate in clinical supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in engagement with diverse and vulnerable families
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
