NEW YEAR, NEW START!
We are currently looking for experienced Female Support Workers to assist multiple clients with complex mental health needs across the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This role is casual however full time hours are available for the right candidate with an immediate start.
Must have experience working with a range of disabilities such as but not limited to, ASD, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Drug Induced Psychosis, Intellectual Impairment, Dementia, Youth and extreme Verbal & Physical Aggression.
What you’ll do:
✔️ Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance and client transport
✔️ Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
✔️ Provide direct support in a 2:1 & 1:1 capacity in accordance with the individual’s care plan & PBSP
✔️ Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports
✔️ Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements:
📝 Valid Driver’s Licence
📝 Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats
📝 NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You
📝 NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
📝 Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
📝 Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
📝 Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
📝MUST be able to work the following time frames: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 2pm-6am (sleepover), 10pm-6am awake/active shift. Must also be available for a minimum of 4 days per week on an ongoing basis.
