Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide personalised support as part of our team to three young adults living in a co-operative house at Strathfield. Our Participants have an intellectual and/or mild physical disability, the needs are lifelong, you will need to be a trusted and motivated carer to help our people live their best lives.
The role is casual initially with 1-2 shifts per week plus an opportunity to do an overnight shift if convenient for you. Emphasis is on you as carer to provide focussed daily care in their home with community access.

Experienced?
– Seasoned in working with individuals displaying challenging behaviours
– Excellent communication skills
– Compassionate, polite and patient
– Being calm and professional in high pressure situations
– Basic reporting and computer skills
Requirements:
• Experience in challenging behaviours and behaviour management strategies.
• Current NDIS Workers Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Drivers license for NSW and car required for transport purposes.
