About the role:

We have multiple opportunities for new employees to join our team. We are looking for staff to build a team, who are able to deliver tailored support for unique individuals and work as a unit.

Staff will be assisting clients with self care, food preparations, domestic assistance and community access.

We are looking for:

Staff who have flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts; morning, day, afternoon, evening, night and weekends. (Flexible rosters to accommodate work life balance).

Experience in working with people with disabilities, challenging behaviours, and complex physical disabilities.

Tasks:

Positively supporting our client’s routines/care plans in a flexible manner.

This includes:

Community Participation
Assistance with personal care
Assist with domestic duties
Assistance with the preparation of meals
Assist with medication
Provide quality support and meet the needs of the client in line with their goals
Ability to provide a person-centered approach that empowers the client’s choice and independence
Maintain client records and report writing
Provide feedback to the Service Coordinators and other stakeholders

Mandatory checks and licenses:

Minimum/Or willing to obtain Certificate III in Individual Support or any Social and Community Qualifications
A Current and Valid Driver’s License & Full Comprehensive Insurance
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
NDIS Workers Screening Check/Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Current Police Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You” Certificate
