IGNITE Community Services is a disability organisation that has a strong sense of person centered support with an emphasis on family. We offer a range of supports, both the traditional types and new ones, all based around what the person needs.

We are currently looking for people to work in 24/7 homes, in the community and in our Social and Aged Care programs. These roles are mostly in the Ipswich area however we support participants across Brisbane too. 

We are looking for people who are willing and able to work a range of shifts, including sleepovers and active overnights, are flexible and committed to making a difference in the lives of the people we support. 

What we need from you!

  • Blue and yellow card – Or national worker screening check
  • First aid
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including sleepovers and/or awake shifts
  • Flexibility and reliability to fill shifts where people maybe on holidays or sick outside of your roster
  • The want and drive to make a difference in peoples lives

Experience in:

  • Manual Handling
  • Personal Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Community Engagement and Social Support
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Positive Behaviour Support

What we will give you :

  • SCHADS award 2.1 -Casual. 
  • Full training and induction
  • $80 sleepover allowance
  • Support and ongoing training as needed
