Esteem care services is looking for a Disability Support Worker, preferably female but not necessary to provide support to our clients in Brisbane North and Sunshine Coast Area, We are looking for Support Workers who are passionate, positive, attention to detail, well-organized, excellent work ethics and time management skills have respect for the dignity of the individual they support. Able to plan with and organize community access outings.
The role consists of the following :
- Regular Shifts
- Promoting client independence
- Light domestic duties
- Community access –
- Providing personal care
- Sleepover
- Manual Handling
- Able to drive company van
What we require from you :
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Blue and yellow card (or willing to obtain one)
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- Australian Work Rights Verification
- Experience with challenging behaviour.
- Certificate III in Disability, equivalent or willing to obtain
- Auslan preferred but not necessary
