Encounter Centre is a not for profit community organisation on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
As a registered provider with the NDIS, we offer a variety of activities for people living with disability and partner with individuals to help realise their goals and maximise their plan.
We offer Adult Community Education courses, and our highly skilled volunteers manufacture and sell a range of wooden toys; and run our plant nursery and community garden.
We are a place of and for our community, where everyone is welcome.
About the role
The disability support worker is responsible for planning and leading creative activities that are engaging, empowering, provide relevant learning opportunities and are responsive to participant needs.

Skills and experience
Minimum of Certificate III (Individual Support/Disability) or equivalent as deemed appropriate by the organisation.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Clear and Current SA Drivers Licence.
Experience supporting individuals living with disability would be highly valued.
