About us

Empowered Living Care is a Disability Support provider based in the Sutherland Shire. Seeking passionate and caring disability support workers in the Sutherland Shire, St George, Inner West, Inner City and Eastern Suburbs areas. We focus on the needs of the individual participant to reach their personal goals.

 

Qualifications & experience

  • We are seeking experienced male support workers for a participant with complex needs in the Sutherland Shire.
  • We are also seeking male and female support staff for participants in the Sutherland Shire area.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR
  • Valid WWCC
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain.
  • COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Driver’s licence and own car is a must
  • Willing to undertake and police check and NDIS workers screening check
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Previous experience as a support worker is highly regarded.
     

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Personal Care (including manual handling)
  • Community access
  • Travel to appointments
  • At home support
  • General cleaning
  • House duties incl washing, ironing, cooking 
  • Must be available to do a variety of shifts, including overnight and awake shifts.
