We are urgently seeking Disability Support Workers for an immediate start in Capalaba QLD.
Support workers to work (day and afternoon) shifts. The job will entail duties such as:
- Assistance with personal care needs
- Assistance with daily living and household tasks.
- Supporting our participants to achieve their goals
- Transporting participants to & from services & activities
- Maintaining & establishing links to community
Essential requirements
- Articulates well-spoken English with clients
- National Police Clearance
- First aid Certificate and current CPR certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS mandatory training modules
- Up to date vaccinations – Flu and Covid
To be successful in this role, any previous experience assisting others who live with disability is a strength. This experience may be from previous professional or from personal life experience. With this as your foundation, you will be provided with comprehensive training and induction to ensure you have everything you need to be able to provide excellent, professional support.
