Please note: Our current participants requirements means that we are only looking for candidates who are available for day, evening and night shifts. Candidates with limited availability will not be suitable for for these positions.

Ellie Jane Support Services operate purely in the Ipswich Region. We are focused on and engaged with the Ipswich community and run regular activities and community events from our HUB in Ellenborough St.
At Ellie Jane Support Services our goal is to match the right team member with the right participant. We are seeking the services of a professional, flexible and compassionate support worker with the knack for getting the job done.
Role Description
- Provide personal care, including continence care, mealtime management, and assistance with showering and dressing
- Support daily activities and household chores, including light housework
- Offer social support to individuals with disabilities and those experiencing mental health challenges
- Assist people with physical and psycho-social disabilities to maintain independence at home
- Accompany clients to community appointments, events and activities
- Provide therapy assistance to implement physical, speech, occupational, and psychological plans as directed by allied health teams
- Regularly review and update care support plans
Essential Position Requirements
• NDIS worker screening (Yellow card) and Blue card
• Current Police check
• An open drivers license
• Comprehensive car insurance
• First Aid and CPR certificates
• A wide range of availability especially in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Past experience as a disability support worker or similar role
Desirable Position Requirements
• Experience working with people in a person centered environment.
• Experience working with participants with autism, mental health or physical health challenges.
• Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studies
Ellie Jane Support Services would like to emphasise that this position is casual, with no guarantee of ongoing hours. We offer a wide range of shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleepovers, operating 24/7. We encourage applicants with reasonable availability across these periods, as it helps us accommodate desired weekly hours. However, applicants with extremely limited availability or unwillingness to pick up additional shifts may not be the right fit for us.
