  • 60- 75 hours/fortnight

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Community Team.  Reporting to the Senior Community Development Manager, this position is responsible for delivering our community strategy in the WA region.

In this position your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • As a business development role you will be developing new community relationships and business opportunities to achieve community program targets and portfolio objectives in the region
  • Building close relationships with staff in order to identify and convert community business and partnership opportunities and ensure high quality banking support is provided for our community partners
  • Developing and implementing strategies to maximise the value of community relationships for all parties
  • Assisting to build the organisation brand (awareness, community attributes and salience) through region based community partnerships, strategies, programs, activities and initiatives  
  • Building and maintaining relationships with other key stakeholders in the not for profit & community sector including community industry bodies, government and media 
  • Designing activities, events and promotions that support the community strategy

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience: 

  • Experience in business development is desirable
  • Ability to initiate contact and build and maintain business relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the interests of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a strong sense of self awareness.
  • Banking knowledge would be an advantage.
