This is a full-time permanent position, based in Campbelltown. Starting base annual salary of $79,823 to $87,169 negotiable based on experience, plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options.

About the opportunity:

As a Caseworker, you’ll work alongside young people and their families to break the cycle of homelessness. From crisis intervention to one-on-one casework, your role will be to guide, advocate, and empower. You’ll develop strong partnerships with local housing providers, mental health services, and community organisations to create holistic support networks that genuinely make a difference.

You’ll provide them with the tools, resources, and guidance to overcome challenges like housing insecurity, unemployment, substance abuse, and family violence.   • Provide casework support – Deliver client-centred, strengths-based casework to young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Assist with crisis intervention, support, and advocacy for young people and their families.
  • Develop relationships – Strengthen connections with local services, including accommodation providers, to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Referral and Advocacy – Assess and refer young people to appropriate services, including housing, mental health, employment, and educational support. Advocate on behalf of young people to assess necessary resources and services.
  • Collaborate with external services – Work closely with housing, mental health services, community housing providers, police, hospitals and other relevant agencies to ensure wrap-around support for young people.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences or a related field.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by homeless youth and a commitment to delivering client-centered support.
  • Proven experience in casework, advocacy, and building strong, trusting relationships with young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of services and community partners.
  • Current NSW Driver’s license and a current NSW WWCC
