We are seeking experienced permanent part-time carers who share our philosophy to join our innovative and dynamic team at our newly built state of the art home The Queenslea, Claremont. Morning, Afternoon and Nightshifts are available.

About the role

  • The provision of high quality care and support for the people living in The Richardson
  • Supporting people to live their lives their way.
  • Working as part of a dynamic team.
  • Making each day a meaningful day for our residents.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts across a seven day roster.
  • Completing documentation in accordance with Oryx Communities policies and procedures.
  • Interacting with the residents and their families in a friendly, helpful and positive manner.
  • Loading applicable for overnight shifts
  • Additional training 

 

  • Skills and experience
  • Qualified with a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) (minimum).
  • Previous experience as a carer in Aged Care (1 years experience minimum).
  • Understanding of quality care and customer service to residents and their families.
  • Understanding of aged care and the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation processes.
  • Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new technology.

 

Requirements for the Role

National Police Check Valid no later than 3 months

Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions is essential
