Multiple Casual positions in Adelaide Metro, Yorke Peninsula & Eyre Peninsula
An exciting opportunity to join our Community Aged Care team!
Uniting Communities are seeking passionate and highly motivated staff to assist in providing activities and engagement for customers of Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) respite services including Individual or group Day Respite, and overnight Cottage Respite.
Join a small team of support workers in providing activities, outings and engagement to customers in a comfortable and safe environment. These programs provide opportunities for respite for caregivers in the home, while the customer attending benefits from a change of environment, meeting new people, trying new hobbies and fun!
We are looking for friendly staff who are organised, flexible and can meaningfully engage with people
Activities are run across a variety of regions, and we are therefore seeking staff with a willingness to travel or who are located in the following regions:
- Northern metropolitan Adelaide, Yorke, Lower North and Barossa
- Eyre Peninsula
- Flinders and Far North
About you:
- A friendly demeanour and motivated in helping others
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Community, group or individual engagement experience
- Ability to write care notes and entering them into a computer.
- NDIS Workers Check (We can assist you with this)
- Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality standards

Specific program training will be provided.
Although these roles have a specific focus on respite services, there may be opportunities to pick up additional hours in other aged care service areas.
