About the Role
Are you passionate in the delivery of person centred care and making a positive difference to aged clients. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Kogarah Community Services as an Aged Care Support Worker in the delivery of services such as:
- provide in-home care, assisting with activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry & ironing.
- Deliver personalised care aligned with each client’s unique support plan.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client’s health or behaviour.
- Working with integrity to deliver positive outcomes to our clients.
- Empower clients to stay active within their communities by providing support with transportation needs such as helping with shopping trips and medical appointments
We are currently have positions available, offering flexible work options:
- Clients currently residing in the St George and Sutherland Shire areas
- Full NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or a related field
- Experience in working with vulnerable people and CALD (culturally linguistically diverse) backgrounds
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety Standards
