ABOUT THE ROLE

Provide high level administration support, to both internal and external clients of Wodonga TAFE. 

In this role you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to staff, learners and commanders of Defence. You will be instrumental in providing specialist operational support to our internal and external clients, these tasks include scheduling, resources, and management of course delivery requirements.

This position assists Defence and Wodonga Institute of TAFE to ensure comprehensive processes are applied in accordance with Defence policy and procedures for administration.

The position is located at Puckapunyal Military Area. If you are successful for the role, you will be required to apply for an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.

Selected Duties: 

  • Perform work assignments using effective time management to meet outcomes in line with WIOT procedures and Defence policies and expectations.
  • Responsible for tasks including but not limited to scheduling of courses, travel requirements, rations ordering, accommodation, equipment and maintenance.
  • Conduct critical analysis at course completion and report as required for review and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Conduct a various range of tasks in line with existing defence policies and processes. 
  • Manage your own time, set priorities, plan and organise work with clear communication to your team leader.

 

ABOUT YOU 

Skills & Experience 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Business Administration role/s with demonstrated skills and/or experience in providing operational support services.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or relevant field OR demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
