  • Part Time Fixed Term contract until 30 May 2024 | Working 30.4hrs per week

About the Role

The Youth Hub Coordinator will oversee the delivery of the Youth in Power program, supporting at risk youth from primarily CALD and ATSI backgrounds in Logan High Schools, as well as foster connections with key stakeholders, local services, community and funders.

The Youth Hub Coordinator will manage the quality framework and support the community hub team members and program in Logan. This role will foster connections to local services; across local teams and within the program to provide co-designed, holistic and locally tailored programs for youth within High School settings. The role does have supervisory requirements, reporting and quality framework management.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrate an understanding of leading Youth Programs that support young people to navigate life’s challenges and be engages and active citizens who contribute productively to society.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting youth at risk in their communities including those who are from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Background as well as youth who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams that deliver programs that support families in vulnerable communities
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships and collaborative alliances with community groups, community agencies, and government departments
  • Sound governance structure, including a demonstrated ability to deliver against funding agreements, meet reporting requirements and contribute to creating a culture of continuous improvement for local and national activities and identifying any conflict of interest
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience in Human Services, Community Services or relevant field, inclusive of skills related to Community Development. or a combination deemed acceptable by ACSL & the funding body.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
