The Role
We are seeking a highly driven Team Leader that is innovative, client focused, and appreciates team member dedication!
This role is a leadership position based on client focussed reflective practice as well as mentoring and coaching of staff.
You will be working closely with the Operational Coordinator to implement effective supports and services to enable participants to reach their goals in a more complex environment of gaining greater independence and capacity to engage in all areas of their lives.
Key responsibilities
- Reporting to the Service Coordinator on client progress, team, risks etc
- Proactively lead and manage the team and direct client plan
- Ensuring the smooth running of all assigned SIL homes
- Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan and as directed
- Leadership, Training of the Assistant team leader and disability support team
- Documenting & Progress Note Keeping
- Day to day supervisions
Qualifications & experience
- Previous leadership experience
- Extensive WHS/OHS knowledge
- Proficient reporting and communication skills
- Great organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- A sound understanding of the NDIS and ability to work towards set KPI’s
- Previous experience working in SIL/Group Home
- Certificate 3 in disability (or equivalent)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
- Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Drivers’ License and own fully insured Motor Vehicle
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Government Health advice.
- Willingness to work our Day, Afternoon and Sleepover shifts is essential
