About the Role:
- Community Hub in Cessnock (Check out our Hub on our website – https://www.sunnyfield.org.au/project/kurri-kurri-hub/)
- Casual positions to support kids with disabilities
- Shifts available Monday to Sunday between 7am to 7pm and during the school holidays
- Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs
- Deliver new education programs and to drive the use of technology within the Hub
- Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies
- Assist and support clients with personal and hygiene care
- Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in disability, childcare, youth work, learning support is preferred
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect
- NSW driver’s license
- Working With Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
