We are a small local based Home Care Provider on the Sunshine Coast looking for staff who want to make a difference to an elder’s life. Duties Include:

• Social support: taking clients on outings to the shops, the bank, a café or, out for a walk.
• Transport: taking clients to appointments or respite.
• Food preparation.
• Respite care: assisting with exercising, dressing, toileting, and supervising the self-administration of medication.
• Personal care: showering and assisting with other personal grooming.
• Medication: testing blood sugar, observing skin integrity, supervising medication dosage and administration

About you:

You will need to have a certificate 3/4 in Aged Care or equivalent

Be a Nursing student currently studying who has completed their Aged Care Placement

Have a well-maintained insured vehicle and a smart phone

You will be requested to undertake background checks such as criminal history, demerit point/driving history and reference checks.

Applicants may be requested to disclose any pre-existing illness or injury which may impact on their ability to perform the advertised role.

Applicants will be physically fit, have good communication and technology skills and reliable

Proof of Covid Vaccination

Will need to provide two referees or references.

Salary: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour + super

We pay $1.00 per KM  for travel
