As a Disability Support Worker, you have the opportunity to support

The Role
As a member of the Day Service Independence team, the Disability Support
Worker is responsible for connecting people we support into the Lifestyle
program based on their individual interests and assist them to work towards
achieving their dreams and goals and supporting to be included in their
communities of choice.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting individuals to participate actively in their daily routines
and activities, such as cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, personal shopping. - Provide the minimum support required for them to be able to successfully
complete any task using an active support model.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An entry level qualification of Certificate III in Disability or
equivalent - Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team
- Well-developed communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and
numerical skills - A positive attitude
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Computer literate
- Current Victorian Driver’s licence
- Able to commit to
working a minimum of three days a week
