About the role/Job Description
- As a Support Worker you will;
- Work with our multidisciplinary team in a hands on client facing role
- All aspects of personal care
- Medication assistance
- Meal time assistance
- Workplace support of trainees and new team members appropriate to role.
- Operation of lifting aids and equipment
- Respite services
- Assistance with household tasks including housework, shopping, meal preparation
- Transport to activities including medical appointments.
- Social support in home and in the community
Essential Criteria
The Ideal Applicant will have;
Certificarte III or IV in Assistant in Nursing Disability, Individual support or Certificate in Community Services or similar.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Australian unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
- Comprehensively insured, registered, reliable vehicle.
- Criminal record check ( or willingness to obtain same)
- Working with children check ( or willingness to obtain same)
- Current first aid certificate.
- NDIS worker screen
- Smart phone and internet access.
- 2 Manager referees
- Excellent communication skills
- Covid-19 Vaccination
- Available for short and long shifts on a rotating roster 7 days per week.
