JOB DESCRIPTION

Happy Days Support Service is looking for a passionate Disability Support Worker to join our fun loving team.

Happy Days Support Service is a small service located South Gold Coast in Reedy Creek and service all of Goldcoast and Logan areas. 

It’s simple really. We want everyone who passes through our doors to have a great day, while supporting people living with a disability to develop the skills they need to build an incredibly bright and happy future. 

At Happy Days we aim to provide a quality service as well as quality of life. When experiencing our Service expect to become part of a welcoming community with a family feel. 

We provide a range of supports such as In-home support, 1:1 support, group services and day program in our office or in the community.

Area’s we have work on offer: 

Gold coast, Logan area’s and Hinterland Noosa 

Job Description:

This Role Involves

  • Assisting individuals in the community, in-home and In our centre
  • Support individual to achieve their NDIS goals
  • Supporting Individuals with high-care needs, hoisting, toileting ect
  • Planning of person centred activities
  • Provide transport
  • Be able to adapt to different environments and individuals

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Show passion for working with individuals with a disability
  • Team work and bringing positive team dynamic is a must
  • Be reliable, patient and can provide person centred support
  • Be able to think quick and improvise
  • A strong desire to improve the lives of others
  • The ability to work across a flexible roster
  • Must be able to work weekends where needed
  • Qualification in disability support highly regarded but not essential

Must Have: 

  • Drivers licence with reliable insured vehicle
  • Blue card
  • CRP and First Aid
  • Undertake Workers screening
