JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking Disability Support Workers within our Riverland team. We provide the support you need to help develop your career. You’ll work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to make a difference.

Reporting to the Team Leader, your duties will include but won’t be limited to:

  • Be an effective role model for clients and carry out all tasks and functions in accordance with relevant Standards, Codes, Policies and Procedures
  • Assist clients with their personal health care and mobility needs
  • Administer medication and undertake other health care interventions
  • Assist in promoting a positive image of clients within the community

You’ll have

  • The willingness to learn new skills on the job and through training, Certificate III Individual support advantageous – students welcomed
  • Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining Senior First Aid, CPR  & Safe Environments for Children & Young People
  • NDIS Worker Check & Working With Children Check
  • COVID-19 Vaccination including booster or approved Medical Exemption 
  • Nursing & health care students encouraged to apply 
  • Must be available over 24/7 roster including passive overnights
