Personal Support Worker-24 hour shift BodeWell Community Care

JOB DESCRIPTION

BodeWell Community Care

3 new exiting positions have become available to work 24 hour shifts 7 days per week in the suburbs of Caulfield North. If you are a qualified Personal Support Worker and can urgently start as early as this Thursday, the 25/8/22 we would like to hear from you.

We can offer:

  • 24-hour shifts
  • 7 days per week
  • Casual positions potentially going onto permanent part time
  • PPE provided
  • Uniform provided
  • Monthly data allowance
  • Friendly and supportive team

You will be assisting our clients with:

  • Personal care
  • Respite care
  • Shopping
  • Social support
  • Domestic care
  • Meal preparation
  • Transporting to appointments

 

To be successful:

  • Certificate III in individual support or higher
  • Have valid driver’s license,
  • Have a reliable and registered vehicle and current car insurance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate Practical face-face (will need to obtain while in the screening process)
  • Current national police clearance (within 2.5 years) or a NDIS clearance check
  • Must be reliable and have the willingness to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Have working with children’s check employee
  • Proof of covid 19 vaccinations
  • Proof of flu vaccination
