Situated in pristine Hervey Bay with a unique bushland setting that supports a large native bird habitat, Kirami is a fully-accredited aged care facility strengthened by a team of value-driven professionals who sincerely care about what they do.

We are currently looking for a Personal Care Worker, on a permanent part-time basis with permanent Night shifts providing you with consistent work and job security. 

Our Personal Care Workers provide high quality, client-centred care to residents in our facility, promoting a home like environment, encouraging physical and social independence.

About You

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or similar)
  • NDIS Screening Clearance
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Full Covid Vaccination evidence
  • Current Flu Vaccinatoin
  • Provide quality assistance with a range of daily activities
  • Support residents with self-care including bathing and dressing
  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Involvement with social and recreational activities
  • Provide emotional, social support to residents
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Be committed to supporting the elderly and comfortable working within professional boundaries and guidelines
