  • Nights and Weekend work required

Community Access Care is an NDIS provider in Toowoomba focusing on delivering real outcomes for our participants. We are here to make a difference in people’s lives by assisting them with independence and building confidence. We put the focus back on the participant and their families.

About the role

  • Supporting our participants to achieve their goals
  • Out and about in the Community
  • Assisting with daily duties – shopping, cooking, cleaning
  • Personal care required
  • Transporting participants to appointments
  • Implementation of Behavior Management Strategies

Requirements of the role

  • Be dedicated to helping people
  • Have true empathy
  • Preferably hold a relevant Certificate 3 or higher
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Flexibility across a 7-day roster

A requirement prior to commencement, is eligible to apply for or currently hold the below: (which are to be maintained at your own expense)

  • Blue Card/Working with Children – No Card/No Start
  • Positive Notice Criminal History Check – Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check – No Card/No Start
  • Valid and current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Must have a drivers licence
  • Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation module
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Please note CAC works in an industry that has been mandated by the government to have staff fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
