How you’ll make an impact
Due to continuous and exciting growth, we’re currently recruiting for multiple Disability Support Workers to join our team throughout Bendigo AREA. You’ll be responsible for providing quality services and safeguards to our Participants with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.
A day in the life as a Disability Support Worker with Uconnex, may see you supporting our Participant with:
- Building on individual strengths and enabling Participants to reach their goals.
- 24-hour complex supports
- Supported Independent living
- Community access and transport
- Domestic and Personal care
The hours of work vary and include weekday shifts, evening, and weekend shifts. Penalty rates apply on weekends, Public Holidays, after 8pm and after 12 pm.

About you
As a passionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker, you’ll have experience with providing quality care services, implementing behavioural strategy supports and building rapport with Participants. Ideally, you’ll have a:
- Covid19 Digital Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation Statement
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desirable)
