- Limited positions – Must be available for Single & 24 hour shifts across the Toowoomba Region

A day in the life of a Lifestyle Support Worker…
We support our clients in their homes and into the community, providing the opportunity to live their best lives and to fulfill their goals and dreams. You will provide personal care and household support in home and where required transport our customers into the community for appointments and activities.
Role specifics:
Duties may include all aspects of personal care including:
- Showering assistance
- Dressing assistance and hygiene needs
- Medication assistance
- Catheter Care
- Manual Handling (incl. hoist)
Other responsibilities may include:
- Domestic support and household tasks
- Assistance of preparation of meals
- Support with assistive technology
- Support to appointments and grocery shopping
- Follow and adhere to Positive Behaviour Support Plans for individuals
- Work as part of a team and be committed to participate in team meetings
Mandatory Requirements include:
- Current First Aid Certificate (ability to obtain)
- Current CPR (annual) (ability to obtain)
- National Police Check (less than 6 months old)
- Current Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card) (ability to obtain)
- Current Disability Services Positive Exemption Card (yellow card) (ability to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Online Module – Free and Easy to obtain.
- Double Covid-19 Vaccination
Preferred but not essential.
- Manual handling training
- Administration of medication training
- Industry experience will be highly regarded
- Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care or equivalent
- Experience working with challenging behaviors
- Experience working with participants who require manual handling and personal care
