Are you interested in a career in aged home support services? We have various permanent part time and casual positions available for unqualified and qualified (Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent) staff.
This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our clients by enabling them to live independently at home and enhance their quality of life.
As Home Support Workers, you will assist frail aged people and/or their carers to undertake:
- Domestic Assistance including cleaning & grocery shopping
- Social Support
- Meal preparation
- Home Maintenance (Lawn Mowing, Garden Maintenance, Smoke Alarm installation)
- Personal care (qualified staff only)
- Respite care (qualified staff only)
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be available at least three days a week
- Be a warm, compassionate and reliable team member
- Have good communication and listening skills
- Have basic knowledge in using computers, emails and a smart phone
- A current Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured car (kilometre reimbursement provided)
- Mobile phone
- Satisfactory police records check, First Aid Certificate and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
A satisfactory police records check and evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status is required for this position.
We have shifts available 7.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Where possible, successful applicants will be rostered to a geographic region.
