About the role

As a Home Care Worker, you will have a varied and rewarding role. Working alongside aged care consumers with differing support needs, you will provide them with the appropriate support to achieve their goal of living independently within their own home.

The types of support provided include:

  • Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework;
  • Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping;
  • Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care;
  • Assisting with medication (for qualified staff).

About you

You are caring, empathetic and seeking to make a difference. You are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients’ homes.

To be suited to these positions, you will have:

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service;
  • Willingness to work across the North Brisbane and Redcliffe area;
  • A current driver’s licence and fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes;
  • Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
  • Availability to work occasional weekends;
  • Certificate III in Individual Support is desired, not essential.
