Disability Support Workers – Adelaide CBD and Surrounding Areas McArthur

JOB DESCRIPTION

Professional care teams are required in UCITY and surrounding suburbs.

Due to the recent growth and client confidence, McArthur Community Care are requiring Support Workers that consider themselves as professional, dedicated to the disability sector and have an impeccable work history with clients that have acquired high level disabilities including Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

McArthur Community Care require several small, selected team members that are unobtrusive, highly competent and understand the impact of a Spinal Cord Injury and a TBI. Team members will have previous experience in supporting adults to live independently within the setting of their choice with an instinctive person-centred approach.

You will be required to be confident, reliable, respectful and have exceptional people skills.

Essential requirements are,

  • Senior First Aid inc. CPR
  • Manual Handling
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • DHS Disability Clearance or NDIS Worker Check
  • Driver’s License and reliable car
  • Previous demonstrated experience with SPI and TBI
