About the Role 

Zest Care is currently seeking for a passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers across various locations.

In this role you will provide a personalised service, assisting clients and their family/caregivers with activities of daily living such as self-care and community participation to achieve goals which are outlined in their NDIS plans.

Depending on your driving eligibility status including availability of the reliable vehicle and willingness to use your own vehicle to transport the participants, you can be considered as driving or non-driving Support worker.

About You  

You are committed to person-centred approaches, fostering inclusion and involvement. To be successful in this role, you must have self-awareness, thoughtfulness, and resilience. Successful candidate will have previous experience working in Disability sector, Social Support, or similar industry, including experience in managing challenging behaviours.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Certificate III in Disability, Mental Health, or similar field of study
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Disability Sector
  • High levels of empathy and engagement and the ability to express both professionally
  • Demonstrated experience achieving positive outcomes for clients
  • Understanding of people with disabilities, particularly Mental Health and their care requirements
  • Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
  • Flexible attitude with a mature approach to work
  • Current Driver’s Licence with a reliable vehicle and must be willing to use own vehicle to transport the client (Desirable)
