What’s the role?

Independent Support Workers assist people with disability and mental health with all aspects of their daily life in a person-centred way. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Social Support; transporting to appointments, shopping or community outing and companionship
  • Domestic Assistance; cooking, cleaning, and meal preparation
  • Assistance with personal care is required for some participants
  • Most shifts will be in Penrith, Nepean and Blue Mountains region.

Who do we need?

We are looking for skilled support workers with at least a little experience working for a provider. You must be a great communicator and have decent availability. Above all, you have to be in it for the right reasons to help people with disabilities and mental health live their best life.

In a nutshell

  • Qualification in disability, aged care, community or related field
  • Your own vehicle and valid drivers license are essential
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC
  • Completion of NDIS Induction and Infection control modules
