JOB DESCRIPTION

Flintwood is a reputable organisation that supports individuals with physical and intellectual  disabilities. We ensure that our participants lead fulfilling lives, by providing the very best supports through our Day Programs, Supported Independent Living and Short Term Accommodation programs.

Staff in our casual pool are utilised across all programs. The training and supervision you receive will ensure that our participants are provided with the very best level of support available.

Our program locations cover the Nepean, Cumberland & Hills District and the Northern Beaches.

We are interested in candidates that can work in any of the areas listed above.  

Responsibilities include:

Personal care – medication – mealtime assistance – driving – cleaning – domestic tasks – assisting our participants to build relationships – manual handling – assisting when going out on activities – goal achievement via active support 

You will need the following requirements:

  1. Working With Children’s Check for paid employment
  2. First Aid Certificate 
  3. Certificate III in Individual Support
  4. NSW Driver’s Licence 
  5. Driving record from Service NSW
  6. Immunisation History Statement {Inclusive of Booster}
  7. NDISWC – To obtain a Clearance

Whilst it is desirable that you hold a Cert III in Individual Support, every applicant will be considered.
