Expert Care Services is a registered NDIS service provider that provides various care services & supports to the Western Sydney Communities including short term & mid-term accommodation, SIL & all Core supports. We go the extra mile by guiding & assisting “persons with disability” in applying for access to the NDIS and then by maintaining close working relationships with their support networks to ensure best possible outcome at time of reviews. Expert Care Services is led by a team of professionals who have more than 10-15 years of experience in Healthcare & Mental Health Sector. We focus on providing “Person-Centered” care/services with the participants & their wellbeing at the heart of our business.
The role
As a registered NDIS service provider, Expert Care Services prides itself on providing excellent community and personal care services to the participants that we serve. We serve a diverse client base of individuals who have a range of different needs, and we tailor our service to assist people with achieving their goals in a person-centered manner. Expert Care Services are currently on the look out for experienced and compassionate disability support workers that have the capacity to provide quality care to our clients. We have a range of shifts and on-going work available for the right candidates.
We are recruiting support workers for an immediate start in the following areas of support.
- Supporting participants in the community to build their social participation as well as increase independence.
- Assisting individuals in the home with personal and domestic care.
Qualifications & experience
- NDIS Worker’s Screening Check
- Working With Children Check.
- Police Check.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate – 2 doses and booster.
- First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Driver’s licence and access to comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Experience with challenging behaviours.
- Flexible, hardworking, and positive attitude.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide personalised care that will assist clients in meeting their goals
- Provide support with personal care tasks, including but not limited to, assistance with showering, toileting, and mealtimes.
- Assistance with meal preparation and mealtime management plans.
- Provide support with domestic duties.
- Medication administration as well as assistance with wound care, bag changes, hoist etc.
- Assistance to access the community.
- Support Clients to reach their goals and achieve their individual outcomes.
