JOB DESCRIPTION

About us

Affirming Futures is a registered provider for NDIS services in. We provide support and services to people with disabilities in the Adelaide metropolitan area. We provide innovative solutions to address the barriers and difficulties that people with disabilities and their families experience, work on improving their quality of life through a wide range of services including in-home support, mentoring programs, short term accommodations and Supported Independent Living.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support (Required) Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (Required) At least 3 months proven experience in Disability and aged care sector (Desired) NDIS Worker screening or DHS Clearance, Full Australian current driver’s license, Comprehensively insured and roadworthy vehicle.

Tasks & responsibilities

You will work closely with NDIS participants to empower them, foster independence, work with them to improve quality of life, assist participants and their families to achieve goals in their NDIS plans, In home and domestic support, transport, appointments, shopping and social activities/community access
