shiny things is a family run business that employs people who are living gems! 

We also provide disability support services to a handful of wonderful individuals between Rockingham and Nollamara.

HOURS:

Day, night, short shifts, long shifts – regular shifts or random shifts – both – let’s talk about what suits you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

there are different roles:

  • team members to support daily activities such as personal care, meal prep, light cleaning, tidying, transporting participants to appointments, brushing hair and ‘doing nails’, shopping and such. This role requires that you’re good with personal care because sometimes it’s part of the job, but it isn’t ALL of the job
  • team members to support a range of activities including maintaining a home (light duties), getting out to shop, going to the ballet or the footy, prompting, mentoring, organising, and supporting people to life their ‘good life’
  • overnight support where you support a participant for a few hours either side of a passive night shift

The people we support are diverse. Male workers, mature people, young people, trans friendly, quiet or energetic… you are encouraged to apply!
