Community Support Worker (aged care)

Masonic Care Tasmania has casual positions available in Launceston and surrounds to work with clients in a variety of environments, such as client’s homes and in the wider community.

As a Community Support Worker you will assist clients by attending to their personal care, domestic and social needs, ensuring they maintain a comfortable and homelike environment in which to live with privacy and dignity. This role involves travelling between clients homes.

Essential: 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support  or equivalent
  • Available for flexible work hours including evenings and weekends
  • Satisfactory National Police Check obtained within the last 3 months
  • Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Current Driver’s License
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance with a notation to say it is being used for a work vehicle
  • Computer literacy and able to use web based rostering system and emails
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience within the Aged Care Sector
