About the Role

We are on the lookout for caring, experienced, professional Community Support Workers/Assistant Nurses/Personal Carers/Disability Support Workers to join our team. NCC assist clients within the community through various shifts ranging from 1 hour shifts up to 7 hour shifts, these shifts require travel across ACT.

We have a regular client base with the possibility for many opportunities within our team while providing that balance and flexibility everyone desires within employment as well as variety across the community, aged, disability and medical scope.

Suitable candidate MUST possess the following skill sets and qualifications:

  • Drivers License (Mandatory) this role requires travel across ACT
  • Own vehicle & willingness to work throughout ACT
  • Certificate III or higher in Community Services/Aged Care/Disability OR studying to toward higher education (eg – nursing students/ para-medicine students) 
  • Completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (available online from NDIS) 
  • Completed the COVID-19 infection control training Module (available online from Federal Government ) 
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card – ensure you have ticked NDIS activities 
  • Annual Influenza vaccination​​​​​​​
  • COVID 19 vaccination + booster 
  • Valid First Aid Certificate & CPR
  • 100 Points of Identification 
  • Minimum of 3 months paid work experience
  • 2 Professional referees
  • Ability to start ASAP
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings from 7am up to evenings finishing at 10pm
