Your Role
As a care assistant you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation – our clients.
Your tasks will include:
- Assist in the development and running of activities for clients
- Provide physical, personal and social support to clients as needed
- Assist in the day to day running of all aspects of the Centre including meals, excursions and the transport of clients
- Assist client in and out of their homes and on/off vehicle into the centre or other destinations as necessary
- Where required, drive the Facility Bus and the Facility Commuter Vehicle
- Report and document all client changes, concerns and incidents in a timely manner to Coordinator

Role Requirements
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
- Vaccination against Influenza is strongly recommended
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Good computer & mobile device skills
