About the role
We are currently seeking three enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our North Parramatta and Hornsby teams on a casual basis.
This role would be suited to those with a genuine desire to promote the independence and inclusion in society of people with disability or developmental delay as well as a desire to support individuals to have a voice, choice, and exercise control over their own lives to achieve their individual goals.
Ideally you will have:
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate – HLTAID009/HLTAID011 (Essential)
- NDIS Worker Check (Essential)
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) (Essential)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable car (Essential)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate (Essential)
- Evidence of compliance with any Public Health Orders applicable at the time – including evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindication certificate if applicable to you.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the disability sector
- Demonstrated Epilepsy & Autism experience (highly valued)
- Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued)
- Demonstrated experience support customers with personal care (highly valued)
- Experience in Everyday Living Skills and or Vocational Skills (Highly valued)
