Aged Care Support Worker 

Casual with view of permanent part-time

The successful candidate will be committed to person-centred care and able to deliver supports which encourage older people to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

You will be able to build strong, positive relationships with our clients and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills particularly when working with clients from CALD backgrounds

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Aged Care Support Worker will be working at client homes or venues assigned, providing:

  • In-home services including domestic assistance, meal preparation, personal care, shopping and transport services
  • Social support at home or group settings groups designed to enhance physical, social and emotional well-being of clients
  • Provide feedback and service outcomes to Team Leaders.

 

Requirements

  • Ability/ experience to follow care plan to meet care needs of clients
  • Aged care / disability service experience 
  • Certificate 3 or above in Individual Support/ Aged Care or willingness to obtain
  • First aid or willingness to obtain
  • Full Covid vaccination certificate
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Driver’s licence and access to a fully comprehensively insured vehicle
